Our CEO and Founder ,Mothanna Gharaibeh
Gharaibeh is the founder and CEO of The Fifth. He leads the company’s advisory services to businesses, International NGOs and startups. He also serves as an executive board member at Jordan’s Innovative SMEs and Startups Fund (ISSF).
Prior to establishing The Fifth, Gharaibeh served as the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan (2018-2020), where he was the youngest minister at the time. In this role, he led digital economy initiatives aimed at advancing digital infrastructure and skills and promoting entrepreneurship and economic competitiveness.
Gharaibeh has extensive experience in the ICT industry having led Ericsson’s operations in Jordan. He is also a prominent thought leader and entrepreneur having served on the boards of the ICT Association, Justice Center for Legal Aid, and Taqaddam, as well as playing a key role in other community, academic, and political initiatives.
Gharaibeh holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering from the University of Jordan and attended courses at Harvard and Aspen Institute.
